Honor the memory of a loved one or celebrate a special milestone with Noblesville Parks Memorial Trees and Benches program. This unique initiative allows families, friends and loved ones to purchase and dedicate trees and benches in picturesque locations throughout our city’s parks, trails and greenspaces.
Memorial Benches
Featured Bench Dedication: One of our recent memorial dedications celebrates the life of Noblesville Parks Master Gardner, Mona Stevens, Mona served the community for more than 30 years, taking care of flowers in downtown Noblesville. This bench, sitting between the Forest Park Inn and the park’s volleyball courts, is nestled in trees just off the walking trail and is fittingly surrounded by flowers.
As you stroll through Noblesville’s parks, trails, and greenspaces, you might come across a very special feature: Memorial Benches. Each telling a unique story of love, remembrance, and celebration, memorial benches are placed with care and dedication and serve as a tribute to cherished individuals and moments. Their stories live on in the beauty that surrounds us, inspiring us to create more meaningful moments in our community.
Benches are available for purchase in the following parks and trails in Noblesville:
Nickel Plate Trail, Midland Trace Trail
Dillon Park
Finch Creek Park
Memorial benches are dark forest green and include a plaque for a special message

Memorial Trees
Amidst the greenery of Noblesville’s Parks stands memorial trees as poignant symbols of remembrance and tribute. Each tree represents a heartfelt dedication, a living memory planted with love and care. These dedications not only add to the natural beauty of our parks, trails, and green spaces, but they also foster a sense of community and connection that spans generations. Join us in honoring the past, celebrating the present, and preserving the future through a memorial tree.
How do you select a tree? Our arborist will work with you to select your memorial tree. With each memorial tree purchase you receive a small tree side plaque and engraved leaf on the tree of life art display at City Hall.
Memorial tree pricing starts at $750. Larger trees and certain species and availability may increase pricing, but we’ll work closely with you during the selection process.
